I'm Svaezifer (she/they), and I write dark fantasy that explores the messy, complicated intersections of power, love, and magic. My own path to the writer's desk has been just as messy and complicated. After more than a decade in the world of pharmaceutical technology—oscillating between the precise science of the laboratory and the empathetic care of the counter—life threw me a plot twist: my disabilities decided to become the main act. Now, I build worlds powered by a fierce determination, a neurospicy brain that sees magic in the details, and a truly heroic amount of tea.

The Song of Rona trilogy grew from my fascination with magic systems that have real consequences, relationships that develop organically, and characters who make mistakes and learn from them. I believe in stories that don't shy away from difficult topics but handle them with care and respect.

Based in Germany, I write primarily in English and have a soft spot for dark academia aesthetics, cozy reading nooks, and the kind of magic that feels both ancient and utterly modern.
